KINETIC opens its 2020-2021 Season with a concert of dynamic reflection at the Live Oak Friends Meeting House. Experience Strauss’s Metamorphosen for string septet, amidst transforming string textures under the skyspace- at sunset. Shaw’s Limestone and Felt represent symbolic surfaces that resonate far beyond the walls of James Turrell’s art installation. Also featured is a new commissioned work written in response to the current pandemic by award-winning, emerging composer, Paul Novak.
