Bree premieres “Five Miniatures Based on Paintings” for New Art/New Music at the Moody Center for the Arts, which pairs new compositions written by Shepherd School of Music composition students with current exhibits. Bree commissioned composer Nicky Sohn to write “Five Miniatures Based on Paintings” in 2020 based on original oil paintings she created during the COVID-19 pandemic.
