Bree will join the Louis Moreau Institute for the second concert of their 12th season at the New Marigny Theater in New Orleans, Louisiana, performing with violinist Christopher Herz, violist Stephen “Adam” Savage, and pianist and Artistic Director Wesley Ducote.

“The festival’s second and final concert, on Sunday, March 22nd at the New Marigny Theatre (2301 Marais St, New Orleans, LA 70117) will feature works inspired by visual artworks. The centerpiece of this performance will be Steven Hartke's King of the Sun, inspired in part by Dutch interior, by the Spanish-Catalan painter Joan Miró, itself based on a picture postcard of a painting by the 17th century Dutch genre painter Jan Steen. Complementing Hartke's piano quartet will be works by Karim Al-Zand, Sarah Gibson, and Augusta Read Thomas.”
